Sarawak Report: The question is, is the information altered or not?

Xavier Justo's arrest in connection with the Petrosaudi leaked information need to be examined in perspectives. To 1MDB supporters, it is a clear evidence that will help repair the image of 1MDB and many quick to believe so. However people seems to overlook the rather important question whether the leaked information is correct or has been tampered with.

 IF the leaked information is correct, it means 1MDB is a shady deal, further criminal investigation is worth pursuing. IF it has been tampered, then Xavier Justo need to be questioned over his motives, or who is the party behind this. This is still an open ended avenue.

Nevertheless, it is worth pondering, why would one tamper an evidence that he depended his life on to blackmail someone, only to risk discrediting his claim?

There is a newspiece in NST today quoting that an expert from PGI, an international cyber security company based in the UK, as saying "..that documents on The Sarawak Report have been creatively altered". The next questions one should ask is 'what kind of altering?' If the altering is trivial, e.g. simply on document formatting rather than the actual content, than the whole shadiness of 1MDB issue is still there. Perhaps the investigation should be on the actual mail server that hosts these communication?

Lagi kisah anak dilanggar oleh ibubapa atas kelalaian. Sampai bila kita nak serahkan 'dah ajal' tanpa perlu ambil pengajaran. Ini bukan kali pertama kes seumpama ini berlaku.

Saranan kami setiap kali sebelum masuk kenderaan. Pastikan pintu rumah ditutup supaya anak kecil yang tinggal tak boleh keluar sendiri.
